I was building a new playlist on Spotify when I remembered my love For The Foxes. This four-piece hails pop-rock from New Jersey and plays music that makes you want to get up and dance. They are a pop-filled fun time.
The band signed to Hopeless Records and have only gone up from there.
I was lucky enough to see the band play last spring while they supported The Summer Set. That tour was the first I’d ever listened to the band. I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself dancing along with the music and appreciating a band I didn’t even know existed.
After the show, I immediately went home and downloaded the band’s music. Over the past year, I’ve put it on random playlists and will sometimes find myself jamming out while I walk through the Common.
The band has some incredible standout songs but a nice thing about this band; pretty much all of their songs are standouts. “Moonlight Ride” and “Kids Too Young” are always stuck in my head—I’m not complaining about it. The Revolution—their current EP—came out in 2012. Luckily for fans, they’ve released three singles over the past year—including “We’re Coming Up,” a favorite of mine.
I’m hoping for some new things in the near future—so be on the lookout. Don’t forget to follow the band on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Oh, and you’re welcome—I just showed you your new favorite band.
