Like I’ve talked about so many times—social media has made it possible for anyone to get their name out there. It’s all about how you market yourself and your beliefs. It’s unfortunately common to find so many overrated people and ideas—it’s actually sickening. It’s an amazing breath of fresh air, however, when you find a real person who have genuine dreams and beliefs. This brings me to Miles Davis—and no, not the one I know you’re all thinking of.
Miles is currently a Technical Theatre major at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. This university, Thompson Point residence hall to be exact, is where Miles’ latest creation came to be. This creation—Curious Collection—is clothing brand inspired by his dream chasing lifestyle. Miles is influenced highly by rapper Kid Ink—who Miles personally got a shout out from—and dancer and artist Julian Alexander, of The Rangers dance crew. After realizing what these two had accomplished, Miles realized that he also could achieve what he set his mind to. Much like I realized, Miles knew that branded himself was the only way to separate yourself from the rest. Curious Collection was the perfect way to do that.
Teaming up with many other young aspiring talents, Miles has dove head first into an abundance of recent promotional attempts to get his clothing line out to the public. This past January Miles traveled to NYC to do a photo shoot for Curious Collection with the help of EazieDaGod (@Eaziedoesit) & MessiahDaRapper. The photo shoot was shot by photographer Enrique Ortiz and styled by Edgar.

You can purchase one of the Curious Collection shirts or sweatshirts from their webstore. Every purchase comes with a free wristband—Kid Ink wears one so you obviously need one. The brand is now in over eight different states and multiple universities. Follow Miles on Twitter for more updates!
I also just have to add how ADORABLE this t-shirt would be with an over-sized cargo jacket, black skinny jeans, and some combat boots. Just needed everyone to know my fashion take on it, obviously.
