Believers Never Die—#saverockandroll

The time has come my fellow Overcast Kids, they’re back—cue the tears of joy from millions of pop-punk loving children and now adults all over the world. Fall Out Boy released details of a new tour early Monday morning, which basically sent Twitter & Tumblr into a spiraling emotional wreck. (I may or may not have gotten way too excited in one of my classes and received some awkward looks).

Not only did the four-piece band from Chicago release tour dates—they also released a new single. “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).

It’s so damn catchy, that I guarantee that it will be stuck in your head for the next day or so. It’s different from the old Fall Out Boy, but that is to be expected. It’s more mature—they have gotten older in the past 3 years, at least I assume. It’s safe to say that whatever this band produces, I will support it. Bands are going to change, it’s called growing. Do any of you really want to buy the same exact record over and over again? Didn’t think so.

Fall Out Boy are a good reason that I enjoy the music I enjoy. Also, there’s a FOB song that everyone can relate to—From Under the Cork Tree has a song for every day of my life.

Don’t forget that tickets go on-sale for the Save Rock & Roll Tour this Friday. Hope to see you there because I will be there without a doubt!

much love — nicolefelldown
